This is a 30 mile 50cc-friendly ride to Long Grove, partly along the Des Plaines River and its forest preserve. At Long Grove , we can dine at Illinois longest-running business (since 1847), the Village Tavern, or stroll along the Streets of Long Grove to do some window shopping before we regroup and head back via the town’s historic covered bridge …..if it’s still open. The meeting location is at the southeast corner of Harlem and Ogden at the Exxon gas-7/11 w the Starbucks next door. Kickstands up no later than 10:45am.
