The first VCOA-Chicago get-together of 2022!
UPDATE (Saturday morning 7:30) It’s 32 degrees and there’s a bit of snow and ice on the ground, so instead of meeting up at Schiller Woods at 9, we’ll meet up at Scooterworks at 11am. It’ll be nearing a balmy 40 degrees by then!
Meet up at (where else?) Schiller Woods Model Airplane Field (on Irving Park, just west of Cumberland) bright and early, ready to depart at 9am, sharp. We’ll stop at the Ukrainian church on Cumberland to take a club photo to send our support to the Vespa Club of Ukraine, then we’ll zip around the north suburbs a but, ending up at Scooterworks Chicago (5410 N Damen) around 11 for snacks and soda. After that, we’ll hit the Half Acre Beer Garden for lunch, if you like, or if not, head home with the whole rest of your day free.
