Vespa World Days 2026 (Rome)

Celebrate Vespa’s 80th anniversary in Rome at World Vespa Days 2025!

World Vespa Days is an incredible experience, and this one will be really special, but be aware that organizational info is usually pretty vague and confusing, especially for Vespa World Club members outside Europe.

The date has been announced but as of mid-September 2025, there is absolutely no info on the Vespa World Club site. Dedicated European Vespisti (often armed with insider info)  generally take this time to exhaust the lodging and scooter rental resources of the general area. Rome has a much wider range of accomodations, travel amenities, and presumably scooter rentals than anywhere else it’s ever been held, but will probably also attract a larger crowd.

Registration generally opens around December (? if memory serves), so if you’re interested, our suggestion is to:

1. Notify Vespa Club of Chicago chapter leader (Bryan) immediately, to get on the Chicago notification/waiting list.
2. Research flights, lodging, and rentals/shipping, consider booking anything you can, but only if it’s refundable. We’re still not sure exactly where the ‘center of the action’ will be.
3. Be sure your VCOA membership is up-to-date through the new year (Only VCOA members may attend)
4. Wait for more info, and be ready to make a decision and jump on registration when it becomes available. You must register THROUGH VCOA, not directly through the VWC.
5. Registration for the event (aside from lodging/travel/etc) will likely be $200+, though that will include a VCOA “Team USA” shirt and some swag to trade.

7. You might also want to put together your own VCOA-Chicago speedsuit!
